They used to sell thease orniments in the pit canteen in the 1980s for about four quid. They are only 3 inches tall, cannot be opened or lit and do not have an LED.
I have on on my desk. 🙂

I think that clearly says 194C E and think the date is 54/ meaning 1954 ?
Anyone know ?

You're right, the date code is for 1954, but that's only for the bottom half of the lamp. Look closely and it's clear the bonnet is "new" (the gauzes look new as well). The nameplate is for a later lamp, probably 60's or very early 70's, fairly sure a 54 lamp would still be using the "Prestwich's Patent" nameplate. Someone's built it up from bits, quite a few around... 😞
