Nice to see Nimrod was gentle with you on your 1st trip into Nenthead, no swimming, no neck deep water, no ten crawls, no bad air, no ladders, Wenders and Nimrod must like you ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Nice to see he found you a little shale to play in though!

P.S. Dont go moving to Nenthead, lived there for a long time, its great for a playground but there are better places to live!

Nice one Simon, proper mines them ๐Ÿ˜‰

Is that the squeeze that some of us larger explorers had trouble negotiating earlier this year (Jagman, Root & myself) and had to dig out/enlarge to assist with our escape ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Next time your up this way give us a shout Simon & I may join you for some playtime. I'm sure Nimrod will have some more suprises in store for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

PS A good look around Brownley Hill would be excellent ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers Jimbo, will do. And yup, that's the squeeze you and Jgman dug out, IIRC the one in the photo is the second one, Nimrod was sat in the space between them to take the photo. Coming back out was a lot easier than going in!

Can only repeat what I said earlier in the thread, Smallcleugh was absolutely fantasic and can't wait for more (even if it does involve neck deep water and ladders ๐Ÿ˜ฎ )

Brownley Hill I hope will be on the cards for some point. Certainly Nimrod and Wenders (and Jagman) have been providing endless tales of collapsing shale

Nimrod and Wender's Coniston trip was hugely entertaining as well... and that one Nimrod described as a bit dogy. Read into that what you will

No worries, off-site images can be loaded in no problem - just sometimes they get cropped so that the page width doesn't go funny.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
