Manuscript sources in Bangor University library and elsewhere refer to this mine being worked between (at least) 1816 and 1836. Has anyone any info, plans or pics? If there's sufficient interest I'll upload a transcript of the source material -- details of work done, costs, etc.

Please do. I'm only aware of Prince Edward producing ore (gold not copper) in the immediate area. Glasdir - a bit further south in the middle of the gold area was renowned as a copper mine in a predominantly gold district.

Interestingly, it is not in Foster-Smith, though he notes a nearby mine, Gefail-y-miners at SH 769/395, describing it as copper trials 1852-1862.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
