We have a wooden & metal scale model of a section of inclined double railway shaft with a cross landing complete with rails and chutes - its believed to be an actual model of a section of mine somewhere in Cornwall.
Its now on display at Poldark Mine Museum in need of restoration. - we believe it came from the Holman Museum and we found it dumped in a shed two years ago and brought it into the museum.
Someone has suggested it may well be from Tywarnhale copper mine and its Railway shaft - can anyone advise if there was such an underground loading platform over the railway shaft?
