We have to remember that as far as our interest goes our real enemies at this time are the YouTube cowboys and paint daubers. As such we have common ground.

I think we need a united front against some of the stuff that's going on at the moment which is likely to result in more access being lost

Hello everyone.

I would just like to say a few things regarding 28dl .

So I am from Northamptonshire and 28 years old , I started exploring mines at the age of 14 eventually when I reached 21 I joined 28dl and they was a great site to me to help me progress I met some very nice people on there , after meeting up with there mine’s moderator he told me about this website additnow where I have found my final home . I have to admit there is some idiots on there website but isn’t there on every website ? . 90% of mine time when I am out I am underground in a mine or some times the C word .

I think if we both help each other avoid the YouTube idiots who are in it to try gain a profit it cannot cause no harm .

No I am katana and the avatar is just that. I dont know why, I probably fancied and alternative image.

I sometimes post on 28 days but found that they have a bad image in Scotland, I posted a report on a fireclay mine in Scotland and was immediately contacted by some horrified Scottish mine explorers who were concerned about the mine getting too much publicity, (the mine was in an exceptional state of preservation). I pulled the report as I could see the dangers of such a place becoming too well known but its easy to overlook these sort of concerns, until they are pointed out by someone.

We strive to keep decent stuff off the radar so the tourbus doesn't go and ruin it for everyone.

The fact that someone contacted you and explained why posting it was a bad idea in the public section of the site seems a pretty decent thing to do.

Irrespective what the goons and the 28 haters say, we are a sensible bunch of people and if someone has a good reason for getting something taken down or moved to a more private section we are happy to look into it.

BTW I look after the M&Q section so if anyone spots anything thats a bit sensitive please drop me a pm here or there and I'll take a look.
