Site meeting Tuesday 13th Jan at Barneycraig to consider possible location for water treatment plant. As part of the project, a repair to Barneycraig Level entrance is being contemplated. It would help if I had access to any recent photos of the level just inside the entrance
Before the comments start, I know that I could get in the level and take some pics myself, but was hoping that someone may have some good images - particularly the first arched section and the end of the arching.
I will put a report on the website after the meeting.
Likely treatment plant will be reedbeds, with mine water piped from the level entrance. All of the dressing floors and dumps are scheduled, so present tentative proposal is for reed beds to the north of the dumps.

John, small water flow out of Scraithole which is also likely to be directed to the treatment plant.(maybe).

Thanks, Peter, on reflection, water flow in Scraithole(called Toby level), is relatively small compared to BC. Which is rather odd when you consider, both the area it drains, and the amount of water coming down some of the rises.
