Heading inbye before Luke Halls sump turn left then take a right crawl leads to the cross cut on the far side of the sump, a just in case route !

This is now even more apparent after today as we have been back into work on opening out Luke halls bypass.
Hoping to be compleated summer 2017 and under budget.

We certainly underspent on the 'having a brew' target today. :)

The bypass is a lot less awkward and hopefully more stable than it was, it will be interesting to see how it goes.

We put a couple of rails across the horse level where you turn onto the bypass so that it is fairly obvious. No reason not to carry on, apart from the area round Luke Hall's is a bit iffy and the crawls are in dire need of a bit of a clear out...
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...

Would be good to dig the falls out - these were first dug through in 1975 - maybe time to go and finish the job....

I had a look through today and found the flat out crawl too tight to fit into.

Will take some digging but is going to be achievable. It would be a much easier route than heatheringtons
