All depends on your sensitivity!
In your case, Roy I will make no comment.

A party of three friends passed through there yesterday.
They had to clear fresh fall from one of the crawls along Smallcleugh Cross Vein.
I think the first one, but I'd have to speak to them again.
The crawl was reportedly almost completely blocked at its end.
They cleared it as best they could and moved on.

It really is a return to the early 70's.
At the junction, of Second Sun Vein, with Smallcleugh Cross vein, it was always the leaders, job to clear a way through the debris which inevitably had come down from the last time, people were through it.
In recent times with more movement on that junction, the stope on the right hand side, going inbye, has reopened, and there is evidence for movement all along this section up to Cowhill cross Vein.

And all the way back to Old Flat Crosscut...
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
