I'm wondering what's going to be best for a bit of underground boating later in the summer - current idea is a plastic moulded sit-on-top kayak :)

Harecastle Old Tunnel (now flooded due to subsidence) has Gilberts Adit into the mines. When Brindley built the tunnel he first took shares in the mine then selected a route that ran close to the seams.
