OK it's caves and it's 3D . I never thought you could make such a movie. Trust James Cameron.

It looks like this film might actually be worth watching, a bit more realistic than Descent!

Should be good on the Imax in 3D..
The management thanks you for your co operation.

Looks amazing 😉

Although I don't think I'll be taking the girlfriend with me to see it, already difficult enough to get her into a mine as it is :glare:

Pah, don't see what looks so special about it.
Muscle shirts, Hollywood totty and parachutes underground are just our average Tuesday night trip in Cleveland...

It was a club prank against Bradford Pot Hole Club. We built a 40ft rocket and lowered it into Gaping gill over night

Looks like it's a 15 certificate, a shame as young Summer was keen to see it. Apparently the rating is due to "strong language".

Is it me or is everything but cartoons and soppy American romantic comedies, 15 rated or above nowadays 😠

I gather there's a truly disgusting one involving a climber biting his own arm off going around at the moment...

Try to get the facts right the film is called 127 Hours a true story where a climber slipped and a rock fell onto his arm trapping him in a chasm, he did cut off his arm in order to escape to safety. He was doing a solo exploration, hadn't told anyone where he was and had to perform a self rescue does that sound familiar to anyone?

He had a choice do it or die and used a cheap multitool to do the work --- Mike

Yup. I remember reading about that a few years back. I don't know how he survived the shock of getting his arm crushed in the first place, still less having to self amputate with no anesthetic!!

I took my 14 year old daughter to see 127 hours and didn't have a problem with it. It's not exactly Straw dogs or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Its relativey true to the original book and remarkably well filmed in my opinion.
With respect to Sanctum, I'll happily sneek her in to see that too.She could do with a good laugh, from what I've seen so far on TV it looks like a fantastic comedy.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
