Extract from AKHJ:
Boscundle Mine, later to form part of Wheal Eliza is mentioned in a deed of 1620 when Mr. Trewbody, the mineral lord, granted the sett to John Hodge and Richard Pendray at a "dish" or royalty of one-fifth.....
In 1700 ... copper as well as tin is mentioned in a grant of High and Middle Park Mine near Tregrehan. The applicant in this case was a Mr. Gabriel Wayne, one of the early Bristol copper smelters.....
