I am hoping some one local can give me some information. I am visiting the area over the weekend and would like to have a surface walk around the mine. I have had a Share Certificate from New Consols for quite a while but have never had the time to visit the site.

Is it possible to visit the site ? If so please could some one give me directions. I have had a look on Google but I can't see a footpath giving access to the site.

Any help gratefully received.
