The history of this area is complex, the best published account is Cyril Noall's St. Ives Mining District which does it no justice at all.
Originally Lelant Consols was probably not the site you mean, but was another name for Wheal Kitty.
There are a lot of leases (including quite detailed surface plans) in the Courtney Library at Truro Museum, also other stuff at the County Record Office in the various landowners' collections. There were considerable quantities of tin being taken to Angarrack Smelting House from Polpeor which could be from anywhere in the area at the start of the 18thC.
There is a record of a bullock wandering into the adit of Lelant Consols & not being able to turn round became stuck. It was eventualy led to a shaft where there was more room to turn round.
I have a redrawn copy of a plan & section of Lelant Consols which could probably be scanned.
