I visited this site about 25 years ago when I was active in the Dudley limestone mines area, the visit amounted to nothing more than a general nose around a secure building.

Wolverhampton Archive seems to hold some info and BWB (now CART) may also be of assistance but, I also wonder if anyone local has any info?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
