Hi all, I have what I was told years ago is Hepplethwaite Gray type 10 miners lamp from around 1876-1886

I was wondering if anyone had an idea of value.

It is very good condition and has not been over polished

Can you post a picture of the lamp?

Yes, if you post the picture I have a friend who worked at Fishburn Pit who is a serious collector, pretty good on this kind of thing.

At the moment its a miners lamp which is nice to have value is an arbitrary thing and its only worth what somebody is willing to pay . I have lots of books which are effectively recycled trees till I am relieved of them
