Reported that there has been another serious collapse blocking entry to or exit from Proud Flats. Please exercise great caution until this can be checked.
UPDATE : Seems that this might well be a false alarm as Pete reports today that the route through to the ladders up to Proud's is still open.
MORE UPDATE: I have visited the location this afternoon. No recent collapses - the route is open to Prouds flat ladder and beyond. I also walked up to Rampgill engine shaft - no change that way.
My best guess is that the reporter took the RH branch on Carrs Vein at the Hangingshaw -Smallcleugh vein junction.
