Dolau Cothi Gold Mine, museum has an headgear, from a Mid Wales mine i believe.

Something tells me that the headgear of Morlais Colliery,Llangennech is still standing, with a steam winder?

I have highlighted sites from the list from 2006 which are no longer there and I have added some at the bottom for some which were missed off

http://www.aditnow.co.uk/documents/Personal-Album-176/UK-Headgear.pdf

If the headgear and winder is there at Morlais, it must be hiding, because I can not remember seeing it.
Calcutta is on this list, so is Long Rake, so is Hollin Busk, and so is Dolau Cothi. I've added Overton on to the bottom of the list along with Swanwick Common & Barbot Hall

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

Florence and Snailbeach were on the original list which I posted the link to. Although it has got George's shaft for Snailbeach.

Also I've noted it's got Westoe preserved, anyone know if this is so and where? (I've not seen it at Westoe)

Can I be cheeky and a little greedy and claim three for NCMME, the well known one on No. 1 shaft at Caphouse Colliery proper (the wooden one at SE253164, although considered pre 1911 its more honestly decribed as my grandfathers broom!), the 'austerity' headgear on Hope Shaft at Hope Pit (steel 1940's at SE248161) and finally the one on Green Lane shaft that is a scheduled monument (believed to have replaced an earlier horse gin at SE250165).

They may mean the St. Hilda, that was Westoe's upcast. The Crown shaft tower ("Westoe") went 20 years ago along with the rest of the pit top buildings.

Also Bersham is near Wrexham, which last time I looked was in Wales 😉

Thought i had`nt gone completely crackers,
It is still standing with its steam winder, just not on the site of Morlais Colliery, its at the Kidweli Industrial Museum.
There`s a photo of the steam winder on the Welshcoalmines site,Collieries section,Carms,Morlais Colliery.

The Dolaucothi Gold Mine headframe and winder are from the Olwyn Goch shaft at Halkyn lead-zinc mine, Clwyd; moved 1988.

The Morlais Colliery headframe and winder were moved to Kidwelly Industrial Museum around 1982/3.

Is the late 1980s headframe still standing above Morris Shaft at Parys Mountain copper mine?
