As per the heading.

Has any one got for sale some old ally scaffolding poles?? about 40' worth, need to make a temporary maypole in approx 5 by 8' sections.

Have a short shaft to climb to somewhere , hopefully. ::)
The management thanks you for your co operation.

I know where there's a maypole & an extension ladder in a particularly filthy hole in Cleveland which you can borrow Lee but only if you retrieve it cos in nearly two years none of our lot have had the heart to do so...

D'not start giving away my maypoles! You can have the ladder though. It;s rather scary above 40' on alloy maypoles- they tend to bend quite alarmingly. Especially when they are tied to the top end of a triple extension ladder!

Its an experiment to see how long it takes to calcify into the level.

Do you want ally just for the weight? I've got a few 21ft steel ones that could be cut up. Postage would be a bit though.

Yes Ric, it is the weight , have to carry them a rather long way also, but thank you for the offer.

Don't be robbing them all Mr Edd !

Rikj seems to have forgotten he's a CMHS member and we could certainly use some scaffolding too !! 😉

I have a vague memory, in a CMHS thread, of - let me think - ah yes......

If it is of any use I've quite a bit of scaffolding not being used. Poles, a pulley, fixings etc. Let me know if anything would be handy.

At the moment I think we've got it pretty much sorted (nature has been kind with the positions of trees), but if anything comes up here (or elsewhere in the future) we'll certainly be in touch.

Ahh yes, well I can't remember everything.

There are certainly a couple of places it may come in useful now that things have moved on slightly.

I've been pleading with a couple of people to start using scaff is some of the more dodgy areas.
