I feel not either, if I'm heading Dinorwig way I'll be taking thinners and wire brush with me.

Good thinking :)

I'm a bit busy this weekend, but as my folks live only a mile away from the place I'll pop up there one evening next week and if it's still there will do my best to shift it.

and give him a bill for the clean up 😉 , I'd ask for one of his paintings in compensation except they have a similar amount of talent applied as the scrawl on the quarry face

If I lived in London and was much bigger, braver and pettier, I would be tempted to go and blu-tack slate chippings to pictures in his exhibition. 😉

The comments on BMC's facebook are still mounting up, and a few on his flickr aswell. I particularly liked "MAN THE ICE AXES!"

This is getting about now amongst people who care, which was my intention- someone has posted it in ukclimbing too:

On a brighter note I can't see the paint lasting long exposed to Welsh weather anyway.

Someone painted IRA on a ruin in Drws-y-Coed. May be 1960s, early 70s at the latest.

You can still see it.

His website is really annoying, or is that because I'm old and grumpy and aren't down with the kids ?

Day 1 – I went on a trip with a couple of other chaps to the home of London creative Jack Murray. We found it, and it was definitely worth the 6 hour drive.
I brought some paint with me and dropped a little something at the highest point we got to.
