seems unfair that CRO's that have received funds in the past should be included.

Midlands CRO - also ends up as back up in Mid wales as the Brecon team covering mid wales are mainly cavers they do need the greater knowledge of a mining team

I've finally got around to counting up the votes!

It was tricky because a lot weren't cast as votes, more as a discussion.

But what I've tried to do is count the actual votes, modify them where people then changed their mind and factor in the votes which were cast in discussion "in that case my vote goes for"...

Nenthead Mines Conservation Society 5

North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation 6

Devon CRO 8

Cornwall Search and Rescue Team 5

Midlands CRO 5

--

Which gives us:

1, Top votes mining history / preservation group: Nenthead Mines Conservation Society

2, Top voted CRO: Devon CRO

So those are the causes that will be supported this year.

Very sorry if your preferred one missed out. Perhaps next year.
