Here is the 2013 calendar.

Earlier this year, by virtue of having started it in June 😉

I think this is the best yet (it hasn't got any of my photos in it!). It's a nice mix of photos and subjects from around the country, some mines we've never featured before and some interesting shots such as the Greenlaws dig and surveying at Snailbeach. And some new photographers :)

It also features a couple of great above ground shots; Penrhyn in snow for December and one of Toadstone's aerial shots of Magpie.

There may be a few tweaks over the next week or so, then I'll order a full size proof, then the print run will be ordered to arrive at the end of October. Leaving two clear months to sell them.

Needless to say, mine exploration is a niche market for printed items such as calendars so the more we sell the more money will be raised for the nominated causes. I'll be working hard to sell as many as I can and would really appreciate help if you can spread the word with club members, friends etc.

I could tell you a story about March's picture. But if you have read the SMCC newsletters you will know what myself and King Arthur got up to at that NAMHO, spurring the trip in the photo.
