With regards to the debate on the Grasshill mining set,My father in law was born on the farm of the same name,and at the age of fourteen,went to work at The Cowgreen mines,so to cut story short Tom is now in his 90s with a many a tale to tell,trust me this needs recording ,any ideas or technical adept persons to help in the capturing the tales of one of the last of the Cowgreen miners once its gone its gone.l 🙂

I would say a Digital Voice Recorder is the way to go, basically the modern version of the old tape dictaphones.

Look like you can easily pick up a used one on eBay for under 20 quid that will record hundreds of hours.
