This PDF file may be of interest to members researching the Yorkshire (NOT orkshire, as in the title) Coalfields)
It includes an 8-page list of the Yorkshire collieries and their owners in 1869-70 (pages 99 - 106) as well as lots of other details.

More than welcome Simon,
It's not under copyright either, for a change.
But how can I correct the title I gave it?
It looks a bit daft with "orkshire" (sort of Lord of the Rings)
Cheers
