I saw a picture on this site a long while back of a mine where a shed load of cars had been dumped.
Thing is, I can't find it. I can't remember which mine or in which area it was. Can someone point me at it please?
Thank you.

Makes you wonder if it is worth getting it out now mixed scrap metal can fetch £100 per ton. ::)

That chamber is weird - lots of fridges floating around just below the surface of the water.

Is the top of that shaft open?

having been there when it was taken it would take some doing.
you would have a lot of scrap from just outside first then there is quite a hiegh down to water level, some of the vehicles might be good for rare parts

Maybe. But £100 per ton for Cwmorthin, and a chamber gets cleared.

the chamber has an opening but there is a ford escort mk 1 wedged iside it a bit worrying when you realise your stood on a car wedged in the top of a chamber.
