Event name: Rhondda Heritage Park Open DaysDate and time: 03/09/2016 / Visits are at 11.30 am and 1.30 pmDetails: Visit the Grade II* former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and book an underground experience tour, fully guided by ex-miners. The tour normally incurs a charge but it is offered free on Saturdays throughout September.
During your visit you can also enjoy the Visitor Centre which contains a museum, period shops, cafe and art gallery.
