Off topic I know, but you really need to elaborate on this.....

Just a slight problem with a broken down jet-ski which was trying to sink, nothing too dramatic.

Count me in, if the Moelwyn mines are on the menu I'll have to pop up and see if I can get in to some of the other levels. Quite fancy the idea of some of the corris area mines.
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

As far as the mines on the west of the Moelwyn's go no tight bits so far, Mr Turbo and me dealt with them in the summer but depends on getting into other levels, one vertical drop and about three slides/abseils (one of which I did very unceremonially on my bum having lost my footing and unable to stand back up), could add more. Water up to crotch depth if you choose to get wet. May have a climb/traverse too. You'll have to ask someone else about Corris.

I'm told there is at least one tight bit in Bryn Eglwys (though I'm not sure how tight it is as I've not been to that part of the quarry) and there's also the big wet shaft to abseil.

Ratgoed has a slightly tight bit (though I fit through it reasonably easily) as an alternative to a 60' prussik.

Other slate possibilities for a Corris-based weekend would be Hendre Ddu (wet in places), Minllyn, Gaerwern and Abercorris. Also within reach would be mines at Talybont (Allt y crib, Bwlch Glas, Henfwlch).

I will come on at least one trip, but I am a bit limited with the srt having only a harness and a figure 8. Which means I can go down , but not up.
Unbelievable, but I have not been on a longish underground trip since Christmas. Although I have been up and about on the mountains and busy on other projects.

i can conferm there is one tight big in bryn eglwys, i think its on level 10 or 15 on the bryn eglwys side.

there is also a long walk in neck deep water in another part of the mine (seperate entrence called long tunnel, wet suit required)

Vanoord doesn't often get an offer like that. He may have had to go for a bit of a lie down.
