Event name: Waingroves Colliery CelebrationDate & time: 25/06/2011 at 14:00Details: Waingroves as a community has bought the site of the old colliery which is now a woodland. The site of the colliery has been uncovered and remains of the engine house and shaft and raiolway are clearly visible.
Part of the celebration is a heritage display when information on nthe mine, nearby clay workings and Midland railway will be displayed together with com,munity people information
