Do they carry passengers on here?!

The quarry is used as a base for the vintage excavator trust.

Yep. They have a 2ft gauge Quarry Bagnall and use it to carry passengers to working demonstations of vintage excavators on open days etc.

I would assume they run on the right hand line shown in the photo though, as the other lines have a point not fitted with a FPL.

He he. Thats what was bugging me! Unless they have a continuous loop that they can trail through all the points.

If I remember correctly, all the track here came from RNAD Broughton Moor after closure, a 1200 acre munitions store that closed in the early 1990's.
On closure the track was lifted and much (if not all) went there.
The rail network at Broughton MOor was huge, serving 270 buildings and transfer sheds with their own branch line from the West Coast railway
