Some new site features have gone live today, a lot are behind the scenes improvements, but some need explaining:
1) Admin Photograph Moving ToolSite admins can now move photographs, both between albums in the
same mine, and to albums in a
different mine.
Uploading to the archive album instead of the user album (or vice versa) is a really easy thing to do, so now instead of having to delete and re-upload just ask and an admin can move them for you.
Similarly if photographs have gone to the wrong mine, just say and they can be moved.
This tool is admin only at the moment for a period of testing, it does an awful lot behind the scenes, both moving files around and changing database entries. So I want to see that is totally reliable, if it is I'll tweak things so people can also move their own photos without having to ask an admin.
