Read a lot about this company about 12 months ago when I was looking to buy my Lumix. I don't think they're a scam as such as just a They sound like a supplier very shoddy service indeed; and from what a lot of people have said, a lot, or most, kit is sourced outside of the UK with potential for delays and warranty issues.
Sounds like one to avoid given the number of angry punters out there...
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

As Simon says, this company is well known for downright crap service at all stages after taking your money.|
Thankfully, it appears they have ceased trading now.

The telephone number quoted by camerabox happens to be the same as two other companies - Digitalfirst.co.uk and Digital-cameras.com.
Newstuff, it would appear that you are correct, camerabox ceased trading on 21/06/11

I placed an order with Digitalfirst.co.uk some time ago. As nothing had appeared after 2 weeks I asked for my money back, and got it. Reading the articles on the web it looks as though I had a lucky escape!
