I know it is short notice but we are going to be installing the spile support frame on the inbye side of the fall on Sunday and could do with a bit additional manpower.

If anyone happens to be in the area and feels like getting knackered and covered in mud please come and give us a hand.

Meeting up at the Assay House at 10:30.

Thanks for the heads-up Nick; unlikely, but if I'm free....

As of today. Apologies for the quality of the pic, the labouring makes the place rather misty. Thanks to Stu and Jim for helping me make the place foggy. :)

The route through is mostly safe but it is still dripping, mostly shale based slime!

The lower crossbeams are temporary, supporting the rails that are there to catch stuff coming down the side.

Yes looks good even if it doesn't satisfy my RSJ fetish

I may be up next month, depends on the weather.

Roy, bring some RSJs up and we can use them in Scaleburn, if you carry them in for us

And some more pictures.

Pack walling needs to be finished off and the scaffolding tidied up but otherwise all done and dusted.
The next hopper outbye probably needs some propping as well before it drops its load but that's for another day.

A big thank you for all their hard work to:
Stu, Leif, Kelvin, Colin, Mark, Jim, Steve, Chris, Pete, Gavin, Rob, Chris, Rachel, Carl & Chris' mate. :flowers:

Also thanks to Chris for scaffold poles, Mole & co for scaffold poles and clamps, Mark & Colin for scaffold clamps and Mark for some steel bracing. :flowers:

A good job.

Good effort to everyone else involved.
Last night was good fun.
It’ll be nice to get back to other projects now though.

Leif.
