Hello colleagues
Our small speleological organization and speleologists of Kyrgyzstan want to offer you a joint project to explore the ancient cave mine Kan-i-Gut in the south-west of Kyrgyzstan (Central Asia). At present, the length of the cave mine is about 6,000 meters. But, new galleries and halls of the cave continue to spread in different directions, which need to be explored. The cave is complex, has several levels and several wells, up to 50 meters deep.
The age of the first mining of the lead and silver deposit is 1500 years. Further, at different stages of history in the cave, the elaborations were made, which were produced by the Arabs, and later by the ancient Chinese miners. During the Second World War, the mine was partially developed by Soviet political prisoners.
In our opinion, today only 50% of the cave mine is known. These are mostly easily accessible places.
According to literary sources, in ancient times, many slaves were killed in the cave.
Until now, there is no complete information about the ancient cave mine.
We offer you cooperation, as people who have a lot of experience in researching mines.
In this regard, our Fund of Preservation and Exploration can undertake the full organization of the expedition to explore the cave mine in 2017.
We and our sponsors provide for the expedition: vehicles, equipment for the base camp, individual tents, food, special equipment, ropes, carbines and other, power generator and all necessary permits from the state.
Those wishing to take part in the joint expedition to explore the ancient cave mine Kan-i-Gut in 2017, in August and September, please let us know.
In connection with this we think that the co-operation with colleagues from other countries can bring good results.
We are glad to any cooperation!
Those who wish to organize an expedition in 2018, please write to us.
We send information materials on the ancient cave mine. And also a documentary about an ancient cave mine.

If you have any questions, please write to us [email protected]
Yours faithfully

This sounds like a good adventure, especially if sponsorship is being provided - I wonder if anyone is considering going?

The modern equivalent of the small ad in the back of the Times that begins a Conan-Doyle or Peter Fleming book!

I see mention of carbines being supplied :o

Although perhaps what is really meant is carbide.

Anyhow the best of luck with it!

It might just be carabiners;)

Or Italian Police officers?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
