It is on or very near Gypsey Level on the Upper Race.
I have no idea why it was called Aberdare No. 1 Level. There was nearby an Aberdare No. 2 level - I don't know exactly where and I think it was coal not iron.
But this is definately called Aberdare No. 1 Level
