Hello,
I'm a 3rd year student from Wrexham and I'm currently writing an essay about cultural memory. I'm looking for a photograph of Bersham Colliery during the 2nd World War, does anyone have one, know someone who does or know where I might find one please?
Thank you,
Kat

Hi Kat welcome to Aditnow you can find details on the history of Bersham Coliery by emailing here: [email protected]

You need to speak with Mr Ken Valentine who worked there for over 25 years it is possible that he still has something to do with Wrexham Heritage but I cant be sure below are some links if you dont have them already. You must however ask permission from the owner of any pictures on aditnow for there use good luck Martin 😉

Hello martymarty,
I've seen Mr Valentine's name appear several times in my research but haven't been able to track down contact details for him. Now I know he was involved with the Heritage Centre I''l ask them directly though - thank you for this!
