That Persinger link just points to a load of claims.

The Brown note does not appear to point to electromagnetic radiation but sub audio vibration which is a different thing alltogether.

Elecromagnetic radiation can effect the human body at the right power but is confined to frequencies higher up the spectrum ie:
mobile phones, high power radio/radar transmitters, x ray sources etc.

As for electromagnetic radiation and the paranormal forget it, it's a no no.

I was just suggesting it might be an easier way to make people poo themselves rather than relying on a ghost.

You are probably not far off with that, hanging on to a Holmans 303 in a raise just about loosens everything up.

It's a well known fact that certain wavelengths can affect the human consciousness, in the same way that poison, hallucinogenic drugs and various other things can.
If you believe, like some people do that consciousness is in itself an electromagnetic field then it sheds some light upon it.

Its a very interesting subject, particularly if you have an interest in generating the 'brown note'

I've heard about the brown note and used to have an old Minimoog Synthesiser (old 60's thing with knobs). It had some pretty serious waveforms and a high output which would really work an amplifier. I remember getting the chairs dancing around in Plimurf Students Union for a sound check.

One thing their brown note did not test is what waveforms that could have been used. The whole point being that a sine wave is perhaps not enough to shake the shize out of something. The other waveforms are formed of multiples of the fundamental frequency and divisions of their amplitude. I would have thought that testing their hypotheses with a variety of different waveforms, particularly saw and square would have been the order of the day.

Anyway, what this has got to do with holes, I have no idea.

Back on topic, I remember hearing something about Bellan being involved in some Ghost Hunter thing (entrance tunnel) and some "foul play" being involved. (ie:- they all got more than they bargained for, because there really was something in there!)

I was perusing some pics with a fellow explorer the other day when his wife enquired 'is that your Cligga album, and have you seen the ghosts in the pictures?' 'er, no.' came the reply.
Upon investigation, as I'm a curious type, I had the usual rubbish about 'orbs' spouted forth but she also commented that faces were visible throughout the album. Now, upon closer inspection several 'faces' did become apparent, but only ones caused by the lighting on the rock and some comedy looking skulls in the background of a dusty shot a bit like something out of Scooby Doo. I also imagined what to see what appeared to be a reflection of my own face in an 'orb'-cough. Totally impossible as I had the camera stuck against my ugly mug at the time.
But what it did prove is that once something is suggested or you are of that way of thinking, anything is possible, hence all these ghost and ufo sightings the world over. I'm not a complete disbeliever though, I'm open minded enough to realise there's things we don't yet understand, but 99.99% of the time there has to be a rational explanation. And yes, I have seen and experienced things myself but I'm willing to be swayed by science fact! 😉

I've done several trips into Bellan and I have to say it's the one and only mine that I have never felt at ease in.
People on the trips also commented on having heard voices in there; so far I haven't.

I've always found Bellan fine.

"There is something in Barncoose adit" and a while ago, a couple of us went into Wheal Speed adit and I was feeling very very uneasy. I manned up and carried on, but it was pretty odd in there and my mate turned around and said "bloody hell mate, what's this all about" and we legged it out at high speed!

I know that spirits, knockers, astrology, etc are all a load of cobblers and THEY REALLY DON'T EXIST. But nevertheless, there are some weird vibes from time to time.

Didn't some of the Ninjarr Urbex00rs do that in one of the abandoned nuthouses when Yvette Fielding was presenting "Most Haunted"??

Ding Dong had a long reputation as spook central as far as Cornish mines were concerned. Anyone been there?
Is it safe to come out of the bunker yet?

I think I may have just emitted one, judging by my wife's comment as she passed by the toilet door. Some suggestion that the "smallest room" may not be as soundproof as one might hope, or gas-tight.
