Hello,

I was just wondering whether anyone has any information on Logs Hill Chalk Mine in Chislehurst? I can't find any information on it apart from it's approximate location so if anyone can shed any light at all in terms of the extent of it, depth at that would be much appreciated.

Given the area that its in its possible it may have simply been a dene hole, if it was accessed by a vertical shaft.

Hi Dave,

The linited info that I have found and posted by Caveman Pete on here in the past suggests it is a pillar and stall mine and may be quite extensive hence I'm quite keen to understand more. I'm surprised that there is hardly any information on it given it is expected to be quite extensive with houses built over the top.

Hopefully someone on here may be able to shed some light, fingers crossed!
