Having heard on the grapevine that there had been another collapse on Hucklow Edge, I took the dog for a walk this morning and there's a fence appeared around the site of the Have-at-all Mine engine shaft, and the bottom of the collapse cone has disappeared.

I'll post some photos later after I've extracted them from my phone and resized. I also noticed that the great hole at Slater's Engine is mostly refilled now.

I would be down it today if I was up there. Anything new opens up around here and it's a case of dropping everything and having a look!

It's less of a rush up here generally - a mine over the road from this one (Speed Grove) did exactly the same two years ago and it still doesn't look to have been dealt with....

I've put the photos into the wrong Have-at-all (didn't realise there was another mine of that name on Carsington Pasture!), please could an admin move them into Have-at-all Grove?
