A little bit of bull from the local news. What really has happened was that a local historical group had been working on getting into the site and documenting it. The council have no interest in the site and send school children who have to study the world wars all the way to stockport shelters.

A family domestic in Bidston kicked off and Mr Finley after killing one member and seriously wounding a second ran from the scene and went into hiding.

The crack local police could not find him despite being on the scene within minutes.

Someone started searching the internet with regard to bidston and figured he would be inside the air raid shelters (dead presuming he had not gone to tesco on the way).

So the place was opened up and a search ensued with ropes search lights bad air detectors, swat teams scene of crime, dogs , catering wagons , night security, council officers. H&S officers Wirral globe news hounds.

So after the council police security etc etc didnt find him they sealed it up again.

On the tuesday following the weekend Mr Finley stepped off a train from Formby (liverpool) and gave himself up at Hamilton Square station.

The pictures that you see are from two years ago there are far more recent ones but i am not going to reveal these or the names of the local history group.
