Hi Carlin welcome to the site.
I used to live in Wigan and pass through Up-Holland everyday. I did hear some very vague tales about a mine in the vicinity but no one I asked seemed to know where it was or anything about it. The name seems vaguely familiar too, but I'm going back longer than it's healthy for me to remember
What was its produce (stone?) and when was it working? from the pictures it looks as if it's a show mine, and those pack walls look in really good condition.
Any info would be appreciated
You can put it on the database and then load your images into the appropriate album.

Hi Carlin
Yes your right, Crisp Delph is not in the database at the moment. It was not the only mine in the area though, there are several more. Adding the Skelmersdale area collierys along with all other quarrys in the vicinity is on my to do list! Please feel free to add it to the database (you can then do wigan if you feel up to it 😮 ) along with any info you have on the site. I never got round to looking at Crisp Delph before it was sealed, not sure what the situation is now.
