Stilton only in Derbyshire and of course Derby Sage - the type that was originally produced at Christmas time with a layer of sage leaves in the centre of it (not the horrible mottled Supermarket species), and of course eaten with a heavily fruited Christmas Cake! - Memories of my grandma!

I've just posted about that pic on another thread!

the flowstone curtains are formd over the former timber stemples; the timber has completely rotted away, leaving only the flowstone

agree about the grin, though. Plus, I'd rather have ANY Derbyshire cheese, than that dreadful oozy French stuff which smells like a railway station lavatory...

Now that is what I call a winner. It has it all, scale, dishy model and speleothems. If the lady PMs me her phone number I reckon it will get first prize.
