It was about three weeks after closure, if my memory serves me right, which is getting rarer.

The agregate pile is diminishing in that photo, so that figures.
If you enlarge the photo there is a bloke with purple overalls on in the doorway of the carpenters shop...might even be me as I worked in the carpenters shop and the sawmill.

Also in that Geevor photo look along the ridge of the compressor house, just past the midway point on the right you will see a black strip, that was a temporary ridge repair by me using an off cut of conveyor belt which I put up there due to wind damage, we had a lot of roof damage around the mine when the Burns Day storm hit in 1990. Happy days.
