There seems to be a sudden glut of them. ;D
Oldham and distributors are getting rid of stock I think, in the near future they will no longer be offering complete T series lamps
Oldham discontinued the lead-acid battery early in 2012, the G series lamps this year. The batch of cells I've got my hands on I bought largely to support industrial customers who want to keep using lead-acid.
This batch didn't come from Oldham. I've not bee able to order lead-acids from Oldham for over a year now.
The L9 'cub' battery is a direct replacement for the lead-acids, they charge on the old lead-acid chargers but do require a new plastic battery top.
Apologies to people awaiting replies to PMs, I'm a few thousand miles a way at present with very sporadic internet access but will get onto all replies ASAP.
But briefly, yup, got lots of batteries up for grabs to anybody who wants whatever quantity. They are new old stock, dry charged, never used. I think they are T4 (have top up holes so they're not the maintenance free version) and like the eBay ones don't have fuses fitted.
Would £30 plus carriage sound about right per battery? If they're going on eBay for £36 I'd rather offer them a bit cheaper to people on here.
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by
