not sure of the lumens out put by a premier lamp, had a bit of a retro tour.

this one small flame lasted two hours on two lumps of carbide in his grandfarthers old caplamp. You can also keep your hands warm and may be toast a marshmallow.

I've got 4 of these and did some long trips on them.... happy days down Long Tor, Cumberland, Jugholes..... Sigh ::)

Replaced them with a Nuclear reactor equivelent which had a Piezo igniter and an Acetylene generator from hell that fitted on your belt!. Once it was on you looked like a Cyber man!!! :lol:

Still got em down the shed and a huge tin of Carbide... :blink:

I have a few good recipes involving carbide 😉
