The UK Abandoned Mine Explores Youtube group uploaded a fascinating video of their camera survey down a flooded colliery pumping shaft last October.

The colliery's name is unidentified, but they managed to lower a camera 650ft down the shaft, well below the water level.

A large collapse, in what looks like shale, can be seen more than 500ft down, completely destroying much of the 1870's brick lining in that section. Then, below that, the camera uncovers a large, whitewashed chamber of unknown purpose.

They did no such thing. What they did was rip off a Coal Authority video and post it on their channel.

They took a professional video that had been done for the CA and 'blurred out' the details that would have given them away to the copyright holders, and you're trying to claim that they actually filmed it themselves ?

Moderators, could I request that the youtube link is deleted - it just gives them more 'hits'

Please Roy...

I have my own views on UKAME too but that's beyond the scope of this particular thread. Discuss elsewhere.

The OP has been on here since 2008 which made it a bit difficult for me, I have to be fair.
My avatar is a poor likeness.
