As organiser of next years conference and field meet I feel awkward being critical but:
Nowhere do I see any indication of prices, cover charge, camping or anything. Suppose I find out when I book.
Booking is er, quaint. Book on-line and pay by cheque. Cant do BACS as card reader broke and never need having debit card and Paypal.
Camping, my old friends at Clearwell are really trying to be helpful but no cars on the field presents some issues. So two possible solutions, 1/ Organise sherpas 2/ Sleep on air bed in back of Skoda as I do on my Wales weekends. Think option 2 good. Take plenty of water to wash with in the forest
So, just made my booking, delegate fee is £35, found out when I booked. Best part of it is the field trips laid on, this really shines. Loads and loads and loads, spoilt for choice. A good effort here.
