Aye Up Roy..... Am still debating on the "as politically correct as a Nuremburg Rally" discussion πŸ˜‰ ;D

Was that the same discussion as Roy having his Rolls Royce temporarily borrowed at a most inconvenient moment?

There are currently no photos of this mine on here at the moment which is a shame as there are some very photogenic bits, but Roy's going back for the return trip mideweek and was talking about taking his camera...

I really enjoyed the conference but also wish I'd crammed more in.
Did the winch trip on Saturday which was brill and Clive on Sunday which was a safer bet after a number of pints of Old Tom and 112Yard the night before.
There was a video doing the rounds in the marquee (on a laptop) of my mate having an amusing landing in chapel shaft.
Dont know if its on youtube yet.

Hats off to SCMC for organising the event.

Everyone was really friendly and the icing on the cake was the talk by Mr Fellows.

Last year WCMS fielded a full soccer team's worth of delegates. This year we were up to a rugby team plus one substitute!

Next year we might try to supply the referee and linesmen as well.

There were at least 4 of my lamps in there that I counted.

It all went very well, even for the winch people which often includes some nervous types. Although why being lowered down a mineshaft on the end of a wire rope should frighten anyone I cant imagine!

Young T and myself had a wonderful time, many thanks to all those involved. The Clive trip was a particular favourite.

Very good catering too
