The white building on the corner (Which later became Camborne Joinery) was pulled down a couple of years ago - the road layout is broadly the same as it as always been - with the addition of some Chineese ganite pavements and Cornwall Councilsfavorite double round about design.
The site was owned by a company called White Arrow City, who oiginally planned a speculative housing development, with the onset of the crash this was kicked into the long grass and WAC sold the site to Coastline housing (Formerly Kerrier Homes Trust, formerly Kerrier District Housing), who were able to release the funds to commence a social housing development. Several months into construction (November 2010) the principal contractor went into administration and work ceased. In January this year Mansell took over the contract and work is currently progressing.
With regards to the rock drill North lights building, one of the apexes fell onto the railway line during demolition of internal walls, which led to all of the apexes removal.
