Tremendous sequence of photos of Penrhyn that you uploaded today Gwyn. Cheers. And not a little dot in the right hand corner to be seen. 🙂

I thought I'd try to balance out my other Penrhyn photo's, after all, it is a working quarry!
I parked up at Marchlyn SH596631 and walked in.
I avoid black dots like the plague.... so does the National Library of Wales...but they've got at least one!!

Very interesting to see what's going on there. I'm almost a bit surprised to see they're still working in galleries, but thinking about it, it's about the only way it could be done without ending up with unusably massive working faces.
