Does anyone have any old oldham lead acid battery fuses they no longer need they would be willing to sell? I seem to have run out of them

I always used to use a single strand of copper wire.

As with tamarmole, a single strand of copper wire. I always put a smear of Vaseline on it and the nuts/washers retaining same.

Use a self resetting fuse, I have loads of them.

Pity you didn't ask about these before last years 'delivery', but don't fret I can put a load in a jiffy bag, just PM me the delivery address.

Managed to blow one of mine a week or two back. I disconnected the battery from the lamp lead and loosened the fuse, which then promptly swung through 180 degrees and attempted to short out one side of the battery!:curse:

Amazes me how many of these still in use. Saw one a while back alongside SRT kit, he must have had his license to kill renewed

I'm still using Oldhams at work - one of which entered service in 1998 and has been used almost daily since!
