The nifty 50 is a great lens. Its a lot of fun to use. The hood design is pretty bad. If you have a canon and dont have a 50mm lens then buy this one ;)
The Tamron is handy for the occasional use when you need a bit more reach. I prefer the wider end so haven't used that much to be honest.
The 18-55 is a standard kit lens and is pretty awful to be honest I stopped using it when I got the 50mm. The hood is a better design than the 50mm though.
